JULES Presented at Global Education Summit(GES), Global Education Technology(GET)
2019 Beijing

Nov. 2019, Beijing

JULES was proud to be selected as MindCETGO’s incubating program, and presented, together with other EdTech tycoons such as New Oriental, Amazon and ByteDance, at the Global Education Summit(GES) and Global Education Technology(GET) 2019 in Beijing as one of the panelists to introduce JULES’ proprietary digital literacy curriculum “School of Fish” targeting preschoolers.

JULES founder & CEO JonathanChan(first to right) was invited as one of the panel speakers at the GET conference to share his startup’s journey to international expansion. Chan said his approach is to look for impact in addition to the bottom line. Through his socially responsible approach, JULES managed to distribute its award winning product with the help of Unicef and other NGOs that support the product. The combination of a business model with funding from NGOs that support a portion of the licensing allows his company to thrive.

MindCET, also known as the “Israeli EdTech YC ”, is a center for innovation and technological development in education, founded by the center for Education Technology. Its newly coming program “MindCETGO” is an accelerator focused on growth, scale and international expansion for revenue generating EdTech startups. JULES is excited to be selected as one of the incubating programs along with other companies from Israel, India, China, USA and London.

Israel is a world-renowned innovation country with a population of 8 million — 0.2% of the global population, yet it produced 162 Nobel laureates — 20% of the total Nobel prize winners. The number of listed Israeli companies in Nasdaq exceeds the sum of all European companies.

JULES is very honored to be a member of MindCET accelerator. With the help of this EdTech platform, JULES is confident in helping more children benefit from its digital literacy curriculum.
